About College

North Bengal St. Xavier's established in 2007, emphasizes and encourages the students continuously to strive after excellence in every field and to become agents of needed social change in their country. The insistence on class attendance, the importance given to weekly tests, our sports and cultural festivals, departmental seminars and projects, outreach programs in the village and tea gardens, career oriented programs, counseling and career guidance, constant communication and dialogue with the parents are deliberately designed aspects of our Xaverian system.

North Bengal St. Xavier's College aims at making its own contribution towards a transformation of the present-day social condition so that principles of social justice, equality of opportunities, genuine freedom, respect for moral and religious values, enshrined in the constitutions of India, may prevail, and the possibility of living a fully human life may be open before all.


The 35 acres pristine green campus is located at Rajganj, halfway between the North Bengal cities of Siliguri and Jalpaiguri. The Siliguri- Jalpaiguri urban area being developed by the Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authtority (SJDA) is already an important trade and commercial hub of north east India.
