About College

Rama Narayan Degree College, located at a distance of 09 Kms. from the scenic Gopalpur-on-Sea along the coast line of Bay of Bengal, is a co-educational institution imparting under graduate courses in Arts and Science stream. Affiliated to Berhampur University, the Degree stream was opened in 1994 academic session in the formerly; Rama Narayan College established in 1983. Committed to create opportunity for higher education and empowerment of the social disadvantaged rural population and skill development.  

The college is under the administrative control of Director, Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha, BBSR. It is managed by the Governing Body headed by Sub-Collector, Behmapur as its President. The Principal who is the Secretary, GB manages and looks after the day to day affairs of the institutions. The academic programme and administrative function of the college is followed and complied as per the norms of the Berhampur University and the official communication received from the Govt. / Director, Higher Education/ RDE, Berhampur.
