 Raniganj Institute of Computer & Information Science (RICIS), Raniganj was established in 2001. RICIS was established with its course affiliated to "The University of Burdwan" (Accredited at the B++by the National Assessment and Accreditation council, India) Rajbati, Burdwan in 2001 and it has shaped into a premier Institution for development and dissemination of knowledge and skills in various fields of information technology, computer application, bio-technology.
