About College

Sagardighi Teachers’ Training College, Murshidabad was established in 2009. The college is co-educational institute, which is governed by Daharpur Educational and Social Welfare Society. The college offers one-year face-to-face Bachelor of Education programme. Sagardighi Teachers’ Training College is affiliated to University of Kalyani, West Bengal and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Dedicated and experienced lecturers are associated with the college to train its students.

The aim of the college is to impart proper training to the educated youth in the field of education and also To enable the prospective teacher to understand the nature, purpose and spirit of Secondary/Higher Secondary Education.
