Santal Bidroha Satabarshiki Mahavidyalaya(SBSM), Paschim Medinipur was established in 2005.The college is affiliated to Vidyasagar University. The aim of the college is to promote social, cultural and moral values with a view to uplift the status of personal and professional life. The college offers under graduate courses in Arts, Science stream. The Institute has state-of-the-art technologies and infrastructure.

The college has rendered a tremendous boost to the students of the vast locality. The spontaneous donation and cooperation of the local people and the grants from the MLA, MP, Government of West Bengal and the very dynamic leadership of the Chairman, Centre for Advancement of Higher Education, Midnapore have helped in the development of the college.
