About College

Singhbhum College, Chandil was established in the year 1973 with the humble co-operation of education- loving persons of the area. The college is situated at the entrance of Chandil Bazar beside N.H- 32 ( Jamshedpur to Purulia) in the newly framed subdivision under Seraikella-Kharswan district .This is the single constituent college of Kolhan University in Ichagarh Vidhan Sabha constituency.

This college has been imparting co-education up to 3 year degree(hons) course since the year 1973 and P.G Course in Pol. Science and Commerce since 2011.This institution has been a significant centre of higher education for intellectual development for the people of Ichagarh Vidhan Sabha Constituency and the adjoining area.
