Vivekananda Mission Mahavidyalaya

Vivekananda Mission Mahavidyalaya (VMM), Purba Medinipur was established in 1968. The college is affiliated under Vidyasagar University and accreditated to NAAC with ‘B+’ grade. The college was founded to promote higher education in this area. The college is providing the needs of higher and quality education of the local people. The mission of the college is to encourage the students to apply the ideas learnt in the classroom to real life situations, to motivate the students to learn more than the syllabi and to consider education as a life-long endeavor and to utilize education into making the students better human beings.

 

Vivekananda Mission Mahavidyalaya is committed to impart quality education in a significant part of rural Bengal. Their aim is to motivate and equip the students to compete and survive in this era of cutthroat competition. They are also encouraged to develop their innate ideas through value-education based on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. They want students to succeed both for themselves and for the greater good of the society.
