Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design

Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2019, will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay on January 19. UCEED 2019 is conducted for the undergraduate, Bachelor of Design admissions, which is an online exam. The institute has released the application form on October 9, 2018, and it can be filled till November 14, 2018. Initially, the last date for registration was November 16. With the late fee, students can fill the application form from till 16, 2018. Before filling the UCEED application form, candidates must check if they fulfil the eligibility criteria. The UCEED admit will be released on January 1, 2019. Candidates can download it by using their login credentials. The provisional answer key will be released post exam on January 25 and objections could be raised till January 31. The UCEED result will be declared on March 1, 2019.

The candidates who will qualify UCEED 2019, can apply to IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IITDM Jabalpur campuses for admissions. UCEED 2019, will be open to all nationals, Indian or Foreign. UCEED, 2019, will be a national level exam and will be conducted once a year. UCEED 2019 have nearly 105 seats in total. UCEED 2019 exam duration will be of three hours and the medium of the exam will be English.

Candidates should compulsorily opt for 3 cities of their choice, in the order of preference, at the time of online application. Once the application is submitted, request for change of city will NOT be entertained under any circumstances.

If enough number of candidates are not available in a listed city, then that city may be dropped from the final list, and those candidates will be allotted a centre in the city of either their second choice or third choice. Additionally, because of operational contingencies, the UCEED 2019 Committee reserves the right to add a new city/town or remove an existing one and allot a city/town that may not be among any of the choices of a candidate.

A listed city may have more than one examination centre. A request for change of a centre within the same city/town will NOT be permitted under any circumstances.

International Center at Dubai

Candidates opting for Dubai centre should also compulsorily opt for 2 cities of their choice from above 24 Indian cities, in the order of preference, at the time of online application. (if a number of registrations are less than 25, then the Dubai centre may be dropped from the final list, and those candidates will be allotted a centre from the 2 Indian cities of their choice, in the order of preference).
