Regional Cancer Centre ( RCC ) Superspeciality Entrance Examination

The Regional Cancer Centre ( RCC ), Thiruvananthapuram, was established in 1981 by the Government of Kerala and Government of India.We are a comprehensive cancer centre catering to the population of the State of Kerala and the adjoining parts of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

From a modest beginning, the Regional Cancer Centre has evolved into an internationally recognized centre for conducting a wide range of cancer research and providing state-of-the-art facilities for cancer diagnosis, treatment, palliation and rehabilitation.

Applications are invited for admission to the following Post Graduate Super specialty courses such as M.Ch Surgical Oncology, DM Medical Oncology, DM Pediatric Oncology  via an entrance exam for the academic year 2015-16 commencing on 01st May 2015 at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. For  Super Speciality Courses

Selection Procedure For RCC SET-2015 :

Candidates will be short listed for the viva purely on the basis of marks obtained in the MCQ ( Multiple Choice Questions ) paper. The number of candidates short listed will be approximately four times the number of seats available in the merit quota. In case of equal cut-off marks in the MCQ test, all the candidates with the same marks shall be short listed for the Viva.

Documents to be produced at the time of Interview:

  1. Admit card of the Entrance Examination.
  2. Originals of documents given below

Original and self-attested copy of following documents:

• Final MBBS Mark sheets.

• MBBS Degree Certificate.

• Internship Completion Certificate.

• MD / MS / DNB Degree Certificate.

• Certificate from Principal of respective Medical College / Institution for candidates who are appeared / appearing for MD / MS / DNB.

• MD / MS / DNB Attempt Certificate.

• Permanent Medical Council Registration Certificate of MBBS/PG Degree.

• Proof of Nationality ( Passport / Voters ID / PAN Card / Tahsildar’s certificate ).

• Character / conduct certificate issued by competent authority ( head of institute /gazetted officer ).
