Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test ( GPAT )

GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. This test facilitates institutions to select suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm) program. The GPAT is a three-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session. The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy are also given on the basis of the GPAT score.

From 2019, GPAT will be conducted by National Testing Agency in Computer Based Test mode only. The syllabus and the pattern of question paper would remain the same. There will be NO increase in the exam fees currently being charged. And this includes about a 70 pages of the syllabus which comprises all of the subjects included in all years of Bpharm course.

How to Check GPAT Result 2019?

Candidates can follow the steps below to view GPAT result.

  2. Click on the ‘view result’ link
  3. Enter your login credentials to view GPAT 2019 score.
  4. Your GAPT 2019 result will be reflected on the screen
  5. Download it and take a printout of GPAT result and keep it safe for the future reference

GPAT All India Merit List 2019

On the basis of the GPAT score obtained by candidates, NTA will prepare all India merit list. The GPAT 2019 scores of candidates are calculated on the basis of the marking scheme as provided by the concerned authorities. The merit list will include the following details of candidates:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Rank
  • Roll Number
  • Category of candidates
  • Score of candidates
  • Percentile
  • Candidate’s GPAT 2019 Result Status

GPAT Qualifying Marks 2019

NTA will announce the minimum qualifying score to be obtained by candidates belonging to different categories. Candidates who are appearing for GPAT 2019 can check minimum qualifying GPAT score in the table below.

GPAT 2019 Qualifying Marks

GPAT 2019 Tie Breaker

In case two or more candidates obtain same marks, the tie will be resolved by sorting their names alphabetically and date of birth in the merit list. For instance, if three students are at 25th rank, students whose name comes last alphabetically will be ranked as 28th.

GPAT Score Validity 2019

The GPAT scorecard 2019 will be valid for three years from the declaration of the GPAT result.

GPAT Cutoff 2019

The GPAT cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to score to get through the exam. The cutoff of GPAT 2019 will be set by NTA depending on the number of candidates appeared and the difficulty level of the exam. The cut off marks will be declared after the announcement of results.
