Central Reserve Police Force CRPF

The Central Reserve Police Forcealso known as CRPF is the largest of India's Central Armed Police Forces. It functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India. The CRPF's primary role lies in assisting the State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order and contain insurgency. It came into existence as the Crown Representative's Police on 27 July 1939. After Indian Independence, it became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28 December 1949.

Besides Law and Order and counter-insurgency duties, the role of CRPF in the General Elections, held repeatedly during the past few years, has been very significant and vital. This is especially true for the trouble-ridden states of J&K, Bihar and in the North East. During the Parliamentary elections of September 1999, the CRPF played a major role in the security arrangements. Of late, CRPF contingents are also being deployed in UN missions.

Recruitment for Group "B" and "C" Para Medical Staffs

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)- Directorate General, Central Reserve Police Force (Medical Directorate) under Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs issued notification for recruitment to 126 Group B and Group C, Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted, combatised Para Medical Staff posts under the arrangement of Composite Hospital, CRPF, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Guwahati.

The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. Interested candidates should send their applications till 24 June 2013.

Application Registration Fee (Non-refundable):

Application fees of Rs. 50 have to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft. The DD has to be drawn in favore of IG of the concerned recruitment Center and payable at the GOP of the concerned recruitment Center. No Fees will be pay by SC/ST and Ex. Service Man Candidates.

Selection procedure:

Selection will be done through a multi-stage recruitment program involving Bar test, Candidate Identification, Screening of original documents, Physical measurement, PET, Written examination, Interview / trade test and Medical examination.

Candidates qualifying all the tests will be issued call letter for written examination. After that candidates who qualify the written test will be call for the Interview/trade test.

Candidates qualifying the Interview / trade test will be called for Medical examination. Those found medically fit will be recommended for appointment.

Candidates are required to produce all original certificates at the time of test / interview.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.

Qualification: (10+2) with Three and Half years course in General Nursing and Midwifery. Candidates must be registered with central or State Nursing council.

SI/ Radiographer: 13 posts

Age limit: 18 years to 30 years.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.

Qualification: (10+2) with science discipline and Diploma in Radio Diagnosis.

ASI/ Physiotherapist: 01 post

Age limit: 20 years to 25 years.
