IERCEM Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Banipur is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology and approved by AICTE. The college is under the aegis of Techno-India Group engaged in development of tertiary level technical manpower to serve the emerging knowledge-based society. All the courses being offered at the institute are designed according to the latest requirements and syllabi structured by WBUT and will practice the learning procedure being followed by some of the top universities of the world.

The aim of the institute is to provide an educational foundation for a range of IT, administrative and management careers in industry, public service including self employment. The mission of the institute is to develop the institute as a centre of excellence leading to world class standard with an honest endeavor in sustaining quality education through modern and best infrastructure thereby contributing to the enrichment of society through technology education and innovative research.
