National Eligibility and Entrance Test

The Ministry of Human Resource development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard test in order to access the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions

As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act -1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 and as amended from time to time, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) 2019 (NEET (UG) - 2019) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Indian Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Pondicherry. Intermediate graduates (10+2) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks can apply online at nta.ac.in. The exam will be conducted through pen paper based mode. Here we are providing details about NEET 2019 exam including application form correction, exam date, admit card, exam pattern, syllabus, etc.

NEET UG 2021 Counselling Procedure

Counseling NEET 2019:

  •  The counselling process will be organized through online mode.
  • Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats will be administrated by Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services.
  •  State level counselling will be organized separately by the respective state counselling authorities.
  •  NEET 2019 counselling will be commenced from the second week of June 2019.
  • Firstly, candidates have to register for counselling and fill their preferences for admission.
  •  Seats will be allotted to students as per their merit, category and availability of seats in colleges.
  •  Once a seat will be allotted, candidates have to report to the allotted college within the notified schedule.

Documents required at the time of Admission

Here, we have updated the list of documents needed at the time of admission:

  1. High School & Intermediate Mark Sheets
  2. High School & Intermediate Passing Certificate
  3. NEET 2018 Admit Card
  4. NEET 2018 Rank Card
  5. Category Certificate (If Applicable)
  6. Birth Certificate
  7. Passport size photograph (Six)
  8. Provisional Allotment Letter
  9. Identity Proof

The candidates without original document shall not be allowed for the admission at the allotted college. The candidates who are already admitted in any medical college and have deposited their original documents and come for the online counseling with the certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited to the medical college/university” shall not be allowed to take the admission to the allotted college.
