Forest Research Institute ( FRI ) Entrance Examination

Forest Research Institute, Dehradun has invited applications from interested candidates for postgraduate level programmes offered by it for the academic session set to commence in 2018. Aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria set by Forest Research Institute (FRI) can apply for admission in Master of Science (MSc) programmes offered by the university in Forestry, Environment Management, Wood Science & Technology as well as Cellulose & Paper Technology.

Aspirants can fill the application form for Forest Research Institute admission online or offline. In order to secure admission in courses offered at FRI candidates need to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the institute. Aspirants are shortlisted for admission on the basis of their performance in FRI admission test.

FRI 2021 Counselling Procedure

Counselling Procedure:

Admission fees have to be paid at the time of FRI M.Sc. 2018 counselling otherwise the seat will be offered to the next candidate. If a selected candidate does not join by the given date or if no addition has been asked for and decided by the University then admission will be cancelled automatically and the seat will be offer to the next applicant in the waiting list.

Preference will be given to those applicants who have higher percentage of aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. If applicant has equal percentage of aggregate marks in qualifying exam then they will be given preference for higher % in graduation.
