NSS College, Pandalam was established in 1950, by the Nair ServiceSociety . Facilities for sports include a stadium, 12-station multi gym, courtsfor football, volleyball, tennis etc., As part of extension , the collegeprovides training in Vermicomposting, Freshwater fish culture, soil analysis,Mushroom cultivation etc., to the people of nearby areas. Among the developmentgoals of the college are the establishment of Research centres in English,Botany and Economics, starting of PG courses in Hindi, Biochemistry andMathematics, Consultancy in DRC, Foundation course in Research Methodology, andsetting up of an indoor stadium.
