T K Madhava Memorial College

T.K. Madhava Memorial College, Alappuzha was established in 1964. The College is named after the great freedom fighter and social reformer Sri. T.K. Madhavan. This college is affiliated to Kerala University. The institution has shown an enviable growth over the years.The Management of the College is vested in the Sree Narayana Trusts Kollam. The Executive Committee of the Trusts Constitutes the Managing Committee of the College.T. K. Madhava Memorial College fulfills the aspiration of the depressed classes of Alappuzha District.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited this college with B GRADE. The college now offers Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Economics and Commerce courses. The college has student strength of 2700. There are 70 members on the teaching staff and almost the same number on the non-teaching staff. The College offers degree programs like BA, BSc, BCom and MSc. The college has earned a good reputation for imparting quality education and a sense of discipline to the younger generation. The college is under the management of Sree Narayana Trusts, Kollam, which is one of the leading educational agencies in Kerala.
