Sree Narayana College

Sree Narayana College, Kannur is one of the biggest institutions of higher education in Kannur District. The College was founded in the name of His Holiness Sree Narayana Guru, the great saint and social reformer of the state, by the Sree Narayana Trusts, Kollam. From its status as a junior college it has now grown into a full fledged post-graduate college with affiliated research centers in its post graduate departments of Zoology , Chemistry & Commerce. This college, affiliated to Kannur University imparts instruction to nearly two thousand students in different branches of Arts, Science and Commerce at the under-graduate and post-graduate levels.

This college is situated on a serene twenty-acre campus, `Govardhan Giri’ at Thottada about 6kms. south of Kannur town. Through the fifty years of its active existence, the college has been able to play a vital role in the educational, social and cultural development of the home district. The college has set a track record of outstanding performance to its credit both in curricular and extra curricular activities.
