About College

CMS College is the oldest of the institutions for higher education in South India. The college became a first grade college with degree courses in eight disciplines and postgraduate courses in six. The college was affiliated to Madras University in 1857. Now, the college is affiliated to University of Kerala and accredited by NAAC with B++ level.

The CMS College shall be a centre of excellence for imparting value based liberal education aimed at promoting inclusive and holistic growth of the learner with thrust on real time needs. The college strives to achieve excellence by imparting quality education through teaching, learning, research and extension activities and to inculcate values of integrity, justice and compassion in the young minds to keep alive the missionary zeal of the founders.
