Govt College

Government College, Kottayam was established in 1972. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University.  Initially the college was started functioning in a building of Government Polytechnic, Nattakom offered degree and Pre- degree courses. In 1974 pre-degree classes shifted to the semi permanent buildings constructed in the campus. The college is offering B. A. Politics, Economics and B.Sc. Mathematics, B.Sc. Geology, B.Sc. Zoology, B.Sc. Physics and Botany, M.A. Economics, M.Sc. Geology, M.Sc. Physics and B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry, B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry
