Pazhassi Raja N S S College

Pazhassi Raja N.S.S.College has been managed by Nair Service Society. The aim of the institute is to cater to the needs and aspirations of higher education in a just and equitable manner, to produce and disseminate critical knowledge and scientific wisdom and to fulfill the pedagogic needs of the region. The objective of the institute is to recognize and promote latent talents and special skill of students, to consistently aim for quality and uncompromised enquiry, to uphold democratic and multicultural values as the basis of higher education and to serve the national vision and aspirations from a regional platform.

This College is the fulfillment of the long cherished aspirations of socially and educationally backward people in the eastern side of Kannur district. In the initial periods of its establishment this was the only institution to meet the requirements of higher education of the people in the neighbouring villages.
