Sir Syed College

Sir Syed College, a centre of higher education named after Sir Syed Ahmed Khan to perpetuate the memory of the pioneer of Muslim Educational Movement in India, is committed to the cause of transforming the social fabric of North Malabar through the expansion of the secular educational structure.

The aim of the Sir Syed college is the Educational and moral upliftment of the muslim minority in particular and rural and backward public of kannur and kasargod district. The college aims to provide quality education to all irrespective of cast, creed and religion.

Sir Syed College has completed 46 years of its glorious existence and is today one of the biggest Postgraduate Institutions under the Kannur University. It marks a breakthrough in the renaissance of North Malabar Muslims through its excellent performance and remarkable service to the community. The college, at present offers instruction in various disciplines at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
